The NY20 Project

A group of volunteers united by one mission – to bring twenty Ukrainian families to upstate New York and provide them with a safe refuge during this time of war.

WHAT IS THE NY20 PROJECT?

We are on a mission to resettle twenty war-affected Ukrainian refugee families to upstate New York and help them start their new lives. As the government has allowed Ukrainian refugees to seek shelter here during the war, we want to become the support system for those who have no one to turn to. Because, it’s just like Jesus said: “as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40)

Make an impact today.

100% of your donations will go toward supporting our Ukrainian refugee families, as they travel to Buffalo and begin their new lives here. We are collaborating with Slavic Pentecostal Church in Rochester, a registered non-profit, so just add “NY20” to your memo and the funds will go straight toward this project. All donations are tax-deductible.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

We’ve been given the wonderful opportunity to settle our first families into their homes already.

During the invasion, Irpin was heavily shelled by Russian missiles to the point that the city became uninhabitable. On March 6th, Russian Forces committed war-crimes by bombarding a bridge dedicated for civilians to flee. This family lived just outside that bridge. With their home and city destroyed, they have nothing to go back to.

They were able to escape to Poland, leaving everything behind and look to starting a new life here in the US. But that’s just one family. We have so many more families who are in need of our help, care, and support in these times of war.
